i want, i want, and i keep wanting.
i can want muddy toes, and a city without sirens. i can want fresh flowers in my windowsill, and origami stars from bangladesh for my curtains. i can want to spend a summer sweating out all my fears in india. i can want to take the day off work to help pick carrots for a nonprofit. i can want the perfect boots to tromp through the falling leaves in.
i'm also learning, that sometimes all i want, is exactly what i have.
but i can want. and i do.
..and the road home, wherever that is.
